*TMZ.com cites “various sources” who say that Katherine Jackson and other members of her family are angry at Jermaine over the Michael Jackson tribute concert in Vienna.

According to the website, sources said that Jermaine badgered the Jackson family matriarch into announcing her support of the Sept. 26 event to thwart “bad press” he was receiving.

Sources added that Jermaine is the lone Jackson family member who will attend the event, and that family members couldn’t understand why he would organize it in a country that has no special connection to the King of Pop.

As part of the Vienna tribute, Jermaine plans to sing alongside his late brother through the aid of audio and visual technology.

“Michael will reappear onstage and sing a song together with Jermaine,” concert organizer Georg Kindel said in the press conference.

*Jermaine is also reportedly in talks with the new owners of Michael’s former home Neverland Ranch to reopen the 2,676-acre estate as an amusement park and public museum by next year.

The project is tentatively called Sycamore Valley Ranch, LLC – the title of a joint venture Jackson entered into with the firm to save Neverland from foreclosure last year, and the name of the property before Jackson bought it in 1987.

Developers reportedly filed an application at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on Aug. 12 to open the estate to the public as early as Christmas.
