*Syndicated radio jock-turned-author Steve Harvey adds yet another gig to his resume.

FremantleMedia North America has announced that the comedian will take over as host of its syndicated game show “Family Feud” when the new season launches next fall, the AP reports.

The company said Harvey was chosen for his ability to connect with viewers and his “one-of-a-kind” personality.

Harvey, whose previous TV credits include “Me and the Boys” and “The Steve Harvey Show,” replaces actor John O’Hurley, who hosted “Family Feud” for four seasons.

O’Hurley said in a statement that he decided to focus on his role in the touring production of the musical “Chicago” and a variety of business ventures.
