. As of 6 hours or so ago, my home network could still not connect to EURweb.com. This DNS is the devil. At work it switched over to the new address overnight and I haven’t had a problem but my home network is still screwed. The withdrawal symptoms are killing me. The board warms up just as I leave the office and when I get there I can’t connect.

What yall think of the IPad? i want one! But for that price (around $700) may as well get a MacBook. Steve Jobs is getting that money!
iPad looks pretty. Sort of like a big Touch without the video cam. Apple is very smart, they’ll sell zillions of these, and promptly release the next version “with Wings”(i.e all the other cool stuff that should’ve been on this one) and all the first generation buyers will flock to buy it again. Personally, I’ll pass. I’m cheap like that.
So, is the Ipad sorta like a touch screen laptop or something?
The ipad offers absoluately nothing new, and this comes from someone who loves his iphone. There are already other taplets on the market that are cheaper and have more features.

Does what a netbook does in a more beautiful package backed by a prestigious brand. I suspect it is also aimed at the eBook reader market, where it is likely gonna kill Amazon’s Kindle. Kindle only reads books, iPad does a whole lot more in addition to that. But is it good value? Methinks not and hence I shy away from it.

Girl I’ve postponed many a trip. I was supposed to be going to Rio for Carnival, but I’m going to Santo Domingo, DR instead. What’s up? Someone was talking about the Grammy nominations yesterday. I’m with you in that today’s music doesn’t really appeal to me. One of the reasons why i like the music of the 70′s (and some 80′s music) is that before the “greed” factor came to play, there was room for everyone to get their musis heard. I just bought Seal’s “HITS” CD. I have to admit that I really like it. Nowadays, you see about 7 artists get promoted and that’s pretty much it.

San Francisco 49er Eric Green was slapped with a $10 million lawsuit filed in a Florida federal court by a transvestite.
According to court documents, Green, 27, met Angelina Mavilia, 38, at a Scottsdale, Ariz., casino last year when he was playing for the Cardinals. The pair struck up a conversation and left the gambling spot thereafter. Green allegedly invited Mavilia back to his condo.
Court documents state that once they arrived at his home, Green got “extremely agitated and threatening.” Mavilia then alleges, the cornerback sodomized her/him, then warned, “This never happened. You’d better not tell.”
In a separate action, Mavilia is also suing the city of New York. Back in October 2008, the wo-man claims, she was dehumanized by NYPD after being arrested for trespassing in a Manhattan housing complex. She accuses a New York City female cop of making her feel like the brunt of a very poor and disparaging joke. Mavilia was ordered to remove her undergarments by the police woman. Upon removing her undies, the cop stared at her genitals and mockingly proclaimed, “It’s a girl!”
Mavilia was once again asked to strip down by a corrections officer. The transgender was then placed in a cell alongside a man. She alleges that the officer too made her feel less than human by belittling and reminding her of the fact that she was not born a female. Mavilia accuses the officer of berating her about the plastic surgery job she underwent as well.

Thought that’s kind of bass ackwards. You should be able to post after reading, so if the newer posts are at the top, then the box should be at the top. If they are at the bottom, the box should be at the bottom. Makes sense to me.
Okay, I noticed that they’ve moved the comment box to the bottom…but they’ve also changed the order of the posts so now the newest stuff is on the top. That’s confusing. Eur, thanks for trying to make this easier on us, but it would really be nice if the older posts were on the top w/ the comment box still at the bottom, thanks.

I def like the smaller font. I really don’t care where the posts are as long as the comment box is wherever the last post is. If I had a preference, I’d go with reading down.
It’s more natural to have the newer comments at the bottom. Well, for one, that’s what we are used to on the EUR. The new format will also conflict with the reply to a comment option. Your reply will still be posted below the comment you are replying to. Well, based on the new format, it should be above. Not cool.
Smaller font will increase the page’s bandwidth.
