Vince Carter (left) and Dwight Howard

*The folks at Guinness World Records may need to start a separate category for the least amount of time between a record being set and broken. That honor would likely go to Orlando Magic guard Vince Carter, who entered the record books this week by making the longest basketball shot while sitting down.

The feat, an 85-foot-shot, took place just 10 days after his Magic teammate Dwight Howard set the World Record with a seated basket from 52 ft 6 in. during NBA’s All Star Weekend in Dallas.
