*Prosecutors have agreed to drop charges against the Rev. Al Sharpton’s ex-wife and daughter for cursing out police officers on the condition they stay out of trouble.
Under the deal, the case against Dominique Sharpton, 23, and her mother, Kathy Jordan, 53, will be dismissed and sealed in six months, reports the New York Daily News.
“I have no objection,” the Sharptons’ lawyer, Michael Hardy, told a Manhattan Criminal Court judge Tuesday as the women agreed to the offer.
The Sharptons were busted Oct. 31 following a Harlem traffic stop in which they were accused of barking profanities at cops after Dominique Sharpton drove through a red light.
Dominique was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, while her mother was charged with obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest and harassment. The women theoretically could have faced a year in prison on a host of charges.
Hardy, on Tuesday, objected to an assertion by prosecutors that the cops had probable cause to arrest the women.
