*A comment made by Sean “Diddy” Combs about his Ciroc brand of vodka has caused a series of events that culminated today with a protest in front of his Times Square billboard and the attempted delivery of a toilet at his Manhattan offices.
At a New York club last week, Diddy boasted: “If you’re not drinking Ciroc vodka, then you’re drinking pee pee.”
The owner of rival vodka Georgi Argent heard about the remark and led a group of protesters to Diddy’s gargantuan Sean Jean billboard in Times Square to protest.
According to reports, owner Martin Silver and the protestors attempted to deliver a large toilet bowl to Diddy’s Bad Boy headquarters in Manhattan, but they were all rebuffed by the mogul’s security guards.
Combs owns 50% of the Ciroc brand, which is imported from France via a deal with his partner in the venture, Diageo PLC.
