iPhone showing a keyboard application

*So, the iphone has a bazillion applications most of us are still trying to figure out. Who knew it could be a mobile studio?

Bay area rapper Freematik discovered a more innovative way to utilize his phone, rather than for its typical texting, talking, listening uses. He recorded an entire album using the iPhone app called ‘iMatik.” Who knew?!

“iMatik is a fresh DJ mixtape full of phat beats, DJ scratching, live synths and all types of crazy sounds,” he explained to theboombox.com. “Everything was made using apps available from the iTunes app store, such as Beatmaker, iDrum, Flare, Jasuto, etc. The parts wee programmed over the course of a few months, in places including hotels, motels, the beach, bars and anywhere else you would bring a phone.”

The iPhone created album is available on the artist’s website: www.freematik.com.
