*With his current comedy “Cop Out” in movie theaters, actor Tracy Morgan is in final negotiations for another police-themed film, this time a drama titled “Son of No One.”
The Nu Image/Millenium Films and Hannibal Pictures production stars Channing Tatum as a young cop who’s assigned to a precinct in the working-class neighborhood where he grew up. An old secret surfaces and threatens to destroy his life and family.
Morgan is replacing Terrence Howard in the role of Vinnie, a friend of Tatum’s character.
The “30 Rock” star joins a cast that Al Pacino, Ray Liotta and Katie Holmes. Juliette Binoche is also in final talks to join the picture as a reporter.
Dito Montiel (“A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints”) is directing.
