Video: Erykah Badu Caught Walking the Streets Nude!

Erykah takes her Baduism to a whole new level with 'Window Seat' video

*Have you ever fantasized about walking down a busy city street in just your bra and panties? In fact, you figure, why not go all the way down to the birthday suit?!

Well if so, you’re most likely on the same wave length as singer Erykah Badu. Only she went and did something about it.

Or did she?

Well, if you believe the new video for her song “Window Seat” – from her new New Amerykah Part Two: Return of the Ankh CD (out tomorrow) – she did exactly that … in downtown Dallas, no doubt.

Or did she?

Well, sort of, but not really. Yeah, she takes off all her clothes, but fortunately she’s not crazy enough to actually do it in public. It’s all about digital editing, folks. OK, now you can watch it without having to think ol’ girl has lost it.

Check out the whole concept of what she’s saying. She’s saying if you’re honest and about truth, they’ll try to assassinate you. GroupThink. She did do it naked, in front of a crowd as she was walking the route where President Kennedy was assassinated. That was world changing. America ain’t been the same since.

EXACTLY. The video was very “deep” indeed. I interpreted her taking off her clothes to mean shedding the bs, being one’s authentic self- a concept that the status quo does not understand. And when people do not understand you, they wanna take you down.

  3. Why is EUR’s “reportage” – “Yeah, she takes off all her clothes, but fortunately she’s not crazy enough to actually do it in public. It’s all about digital editing, folks.” – still online when it’s a national story that she in fact did go nekkid for real?

Azure, she was speaking to us the other day over 2 hours on Twitter. She walked the street naked. They only had one shot to do it in though. She said she was nervous and was prayin’ the cops ain’t show.

  4. Though I was/am impressed with the concept/message and that proper lil ass of hers, Dallas needs to press charges against her ass with the quickness. Com’on now, there were kids out there. If this were a man walking down the street with his “Johnson” hanging-out with lil girls in the area folk would be calling for his head! She needs to be locked-up. She could’ve paid the extra money to have a set built that would’ve given her a similar environment to get her message across.

She’s created a nice lil buzz off of this, but you can’t just be walking down the the street “bucked nakid!! LMBAO!!

  5. what ‘s all the controversy about? Erykah Badu is an artist. As an artist, it is her job to keep us entertained. She did a wonderful job! Badu we love you in Alexandria, just don’t try that here, they’re still in 16th century. Guess I’ll have to move to Dallas. Louisiana is always last.

    • As much as I like watching naked women I say she should’ve been arrested. Now imagine if you were walking down the street with your kid (a daughter at that) and a man passes by the both of you with his “pole swangin’.” Let’s see if you would be talking that “he’s an artist, it’s his job” nonsense then.

As much as I like her, she was out of line & not being respectful to the public. That public includes kids too. It has nothing to do with being old fashion or anything like that. It’s about courtesy & respect for others.

All I have to say is this; had that been a man walking down the street like that the very ones acting like it wasn’t a big deal here would be calling for that man’s nuts to be cut off.

VERY well said. I co-sign. If that had been a MAN GLIDING down the street like that, he would’ve gotten a hell of a lot MORE than a little $500 fine and a “tut-tut.” I’ll bet the cops were somewhere watching and thinking, “So that’s what them nigger gals’ asses look like underneath their clothes?? Oh MAN!”

I NEVER liked her music, so I can say this: Erykah, keep your STANK ASS covered, PLEASE!!! Stop doing what you see WHITE WOMEN do and have a little SELF-RESPECT AS A BLACK WOMAN!!!

I co-sign with AL-B. No controversy here. She should’ve kept her clothes ON.
