*After a number of delays, the first solo album from Outkast member Big Boi, “Sir Lucious Leftfoot: The Son of Chico Dusty,” will finally see the light of day on July 6, reports Billboard.com.
The Def Jam album features first single, “Shutterbug” [listen below], as well as 14 other tracks, including the bassy, piano-based “Turns Me On,” featuring Sleepy Brown; “Tangerine,” featuring T.I. with tambourines and guitars; and the Lil Jon-produced “Hustle Blood,” which features Jamie Foxx, reports Billboard. Big Boi said that particular track is “for the ladies.”
Ten days after the release of his album, Big Boi joins the lineup at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago’s Union Park during the July 16-18 weekend.
