*While Jennifer Lopez’s new film “The Back-Up Plan” was busy placing #2 at the box office this weekend, news broke that her ex-husband, Ojani Noa, apparently has no back-up plan when it comes to his finances – unless you count bankruptcy.

Noa, who was married to J.Lo between 1997 and 1998, is reportedly preparing to file for bankruptcy after recent legal battles with the actress have drained his bank account.

Lopez filed a $10 million lawsuit against her ex-husband in November 2009, in a bid to prevent him from releasing a sex tape they allegedly filmed during their brief marriage. Noa and his production partner Ed Meyer were blocked from distributing both the film and “confidential information” about Lopez after a judge issued an injunction. They also lost a legal bid to overturn the ruling.

Noa admits the legal wrangling has crippled his finances and he’s preparing to file for bankruptcy.

“The lawsuit put me through so much pain and frustration. I’m losing everything,” he tells New York Post’s Page Six. “I can’t go to work because anytime I go to a casting, people are afraid to hire me because of the judgment on my head. (They are) skeptical (because) of what I’m going through.”

Lopez’s attorneys have already moved to ensure Noa doesn’t sell the footage to help pay his debts.

“Both the preliminary injunction and the permanent injunction are still in full force and effect,” says Lopez’s lawyer, John Lavely. Offering for sale or selling the videotape would constitute a willful violation.”
