*Thanks to the upcoming Spike TV series “Pros Vs. Joes,” former Philadelphia Eagles teammates and bitter enemies Donovan McNabb and Terrell Owens have not only repaired their friendship, but may end up as teammates again – on the Washington Redskins.

Word this afternoon is that McNabb, newly traded to the Redskins, is trying to get coach Mike Shanahan to sign the controversial wide receiver, who just spent a lackluster year with the Buffalo Bills and is currently a free agent.

T.O.’s agent Drew Rosenhaus confirmed that McNabb and Owens discussed a potential reunion while filming the “Pros vs. Joes” reality show this spring. He told ESPN’s “Sports Center” that his client would love the chance to play in the NFC East again and face his former division rivals Philadelphia and Dallas.

Shanahan told ESPN the team is not actively considering signing Owens.

McNabb was traded to the Redskins earlier this month after spending his entire 11-year career in Philadelphia, where he and Owens combined to take the Eagles to the Super Bowl in 2005.

But, the two had a volatile relationship throughout the season. The Eagles wound up releasing Owens after the 2005 season, but not before he managed to publicly trash McNabb and leave a divided locker room behind.
