*Oprah Winfrey has not only been good for the Obamas, but the First Couple has been just as good for Winfrey, when it comes to her stock portfolio.

During a “Dream Jobs” episode of her talk show Wednesday, she told J.Crew’s Creative Director Jenna Lyons that she became an investor in the company immediately after seeing Michelle Obama sporting a J.Crew cardigan sweater and skirt combo on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” in October 2008.

“The very first time I saw the First Lady, even before she became the First Lady, wearing J.Crew–full disclosure here–I went and bought some J.Crew stock,” admitted Oprah.

The TV host – who famously campaigned for Barack Obama and is often credited with helping to get him elected – also suggested that putting her money on Michelle’s J.Crew obsession has paid off, saying, “And that [investment] was a very good decision.”
