*A peace rally for the seven-year-old Trenton, NJ girl who was gang raped in the city will be held on Saturday (April 10) with Russell Simmons, Rev. Al Sharpton and the PeaceKeepers scheduled to attend.
The seven-year old victim was allegedly sold for sexual favors by her 15-year-old sister, who has been charged in the case along with the five men accused of raping the seven-year-old during a party on March 28.
There were reports that Jay-Z was part of the “Stop the Violence” rally organizers with Simmons and Dennis Muhammad’s PeaceKeepers group, but the rapper’s attendance has not been confirmed.
Yesterday, Trenton Mayor Douglas H. Palmer said he would not attend the rally, which is taking place at the Lighthouse Outreach Ministry.
this is all too tragic….and what sick puppy raised that 15yr old? it’s obvious to any one that she had been molested and raped in the same manner to think she could do this to a hers or anybody’s sister. The parents should be jailed. I don’t know what for but, just put them away. And those men that did this..I got to calm down. Just think of the little girls that don’t tell?
