*As Tiger Woods prepares to tee off at the Masters this afternoon (4 p.m. EST on ESPN), Nike has premiered its first new ad featuring the golfer since his sex-scandal broke in November.
The black-and-white spot features Tiger staring directly into the camera as audio of his late father, Earl Woods, is heard saying, “Tiger, I am more prone to be inquisitive, to promote discussion. I wanna find out what your thinking was. I wanna find out what your feelings are, and did you learn anything.”
As Earl Woods speaks, the camera moves from a medium shot of Tiger – capturing the Nike swoosh on his hat and vest – to an extreme close up, showing only his face.
The commercial is currently airing on ESPN and The Golf Channel.
