Courtney B. Vance with Joseph Fiennes in "FlashForward"

*ABC has given the axe to its freshman time-warp drama “FlashForward” and the long-running comedy “Scrubs,” which it had picked up after NBC dropped it in 2008.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the network has decided not to pick up either show because of struggling ratings.

“FlashForward” co-starred Courtney B. Vance and focused on a worldwide blackout during which people saw the future.

“Scrubs,” which featured Donald Faison, was retooled for its ninth season after ABC picked it up in 2009, but viewership remained low.

Also gone, Alyssa Milano’s new series “Romantically Challenged,” which premiered last month, and “Better Off Ted.” Neither show will return after its current season ends.

A spokesperson for ABC declined to comment.
