*Dr. Conrad Murray, the man charged in Michael Jackson’s death, visited Joel Osteen’s mega-church in Houston on Sunday for private prayer between morning services.
According to sources at Lakewood Church, Murray met with Joel and his wife Victoria for about 10 minutes in between the 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. sermons. Joel’s brother Paul was also part of the pray date, as was Murray’s attorney, Ed Chernoff, and friend Jeffrey, reports TMZ.
Osteen has acknowledged that Murray is going through a “hard time” — which is one of the reasons he was invited to the service.
In other Murray news, the doctor’s lawyers may not be ready for the preliminary hearing next month in his involuntary manslaughter case, because they still have not received the full criminal file.
Miranda Sevcik, spokesperson for Murray’s lawyer, Ed Chernoff, tells TMZ they have only received 3,500 pages of discovery, while a news report indicated that the D.A.’s office claims it has “hundreds of thousands of pages of material.”
“Sevcik told TMZ the defense team may ask to delay the preliminary hearing — set for June 14 – if all of the documents are not delivered soon.

1st John 13:18 I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me. 19 Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he. 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. 13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. 17 These things I command you, that ye love one another. 16:1 These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended. 2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. 3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me. 4 But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you. 17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
