*A custom watch created by Jay-Z was auctioned off Monday night for $220,000 during Audemars Piguet’s “Time to Give” event at the Four Seasons Hotel in New York City.
The watch, personally designed and sold by the rap mogul, was among a number of celebrity timepieces auctioned off during the event.
While on stage seeking bidders for a watch signed by actor Kelsey Grammer, Jay-Z reportedly mispronounced his name – calling his first name “Chelsea.”
Grammer “just chuckled and shook his head,” according to the New York Post’s Page Six.
Jay-Z visited the prestigious North Carolina A&T State University in support for the now President Obama to drum up votes. Jay-Z said something like, “what’s up AT&T”. I appreciate his attendance, but him and others that drop in should know that the university doesn’t sell phones nor phone service – it’s A&T. Now Kelsey is Chelsea. Does he have time to practice knowing stuff before speaking stuff?
I am by no means a fan of him or his “so-called” talent, so please don’t have me thinking that he’s “ig-nent”.
At least he is TRYING to do some positive things….
