*Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are the latest names rumored to be in consideration for the U.S. version of “The X Factor,” which will feature Simon Cowell as an executive producer and judge.

According to The Mirror, the husband and wife are on Cowell’s 50-person shortlist for the show, reportedly believing they can “win over the lucrative Latino market.”

“He thinks J-Lo or her hubby would be fantastic additions and Jennifer would add a real international appeal,” a “source” told the paper.

Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon, Lady Gaga, Louis Walsh, Cheryl Cole and Sinitta have all been rumored as possible judges on the talent show.

In January, Cowell insinuated that his former “Amerian Idol” co-star Paula Abdul will be a part of “The X Factor,” but reports surfaced last week that negotiations are stalled because she’s demanding $3 million for the gig. So far, Cowell remains the only judge confirmed for the series.

Dermot O’Leary is expected to host the US edition of the program.
