*Krista White has emerged the winner of “America’s Next Top Model,” earning a contract with Wilhelmina models, a six-page cover spread with Seventeen magazine and a $100,000 CoverGirl contract.
The 24-year-old from Arkansas triumphed in last night’s Cycle 14 season finale over fellow finalists Raina Hein, Alexandra Underwood and Angelea Preston.
“I just want to pinch myself or something. I can’t believe it. No-one ever thought it would be me,” she said, breaking down in tears as the result was announced.
Tyra told her that she was “amazing” and “the embodiment of ‘America’s Next Top Model,'” explaining: “You came in here didn’t know what you were doing but you learned and listened and blossomed. There is an honesty and rawness about you that is so beautiful.”
The final shoot (pictured above) found the girls in Queenstown, New Zealand where they had to be “ugly-pretty” (a Tyra-ism). Krista is pictured with “ANTM’s” Jay Manuel.
The final had Krista up against Raina, after Angelea and Alexandra were eliminated during the first panel of the night. Below, the Anna Sui runway finale required the girls to be lighthearted and fun, something that Krista was able to pull off even though she has a naturally strong/serious walk.
