UPDATE:  A witnesses claims Suge Knight was in the driver’s seat of his SUV when he pointed a gun at another car during the incident that led to his arrest this morning.

After cops received the witness tip, they located Suge’s car in the Los Angeles area and initiated a “high risk stop,” TMZ reported. Multiple officers reportedly drew their firearms and ordered Suge — and two other women — out of the vehicle.  Suge was eventually taken into custody and arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and driving on a suspended license.

*TMZ is reporting that Marion “Suge” Knight has been arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, involving a firearm.

Police pulled over the former Death Row CEO early Thursday morning for driving on a suspended license, according to the Web site.

He was taken into custody, where he remained at press time with bail set at $65,000. Further details are pending.
