*A former pitcher for the L.A. Dodgers, Jose Lima, apparently died of a sudden heart attack in his sleep Sunday morning at the age of 37.  He was a beloved player for the team.

According to Yahoo! Sports Lima’s record precedes him.  Lima, born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, in “won 89 games over 13 major league seasons, 37 over two seasons – 1998-99 – with the Houston Astros and 13 for the Dodgers in 2004.”

He was so flavorful and alive on the field his style of play became known as “Lima Time.” (more…)
