*NBA star LeBron James joins a growing list of celebrities whose names front a line of high-end headphones from Monster Cable.
The company’s CEO Noel Lee says the Cleveland Cavaliers forward will follow in the footsteps of Dr. Dre, Lady Gaga and Diddy and launch his own set of cans, reports the Associated Press.
Lee says “sound quality really matters when you enjoy music,” and athletes such as James need that kind of high-quality sound experience because “it’s their way of focusing energy” before games.
The athlete has already sported Dr. Dre’s headphones in an NBA commercial.
Beats by Dre was launched two years ago, while Heartbeats by Lady Gaga hit the market last year and Diddy’s Diddybeats in May.
Lee didn’t say when James’ line would be available.
