Holyfield & Tyson
*Yahoo Sports is spreading a rumor that 44-year-old Mike Tyson is looking for a rematch against 48-year-old Evander Holyfield. Are you serious???
According to the report, Tyson is currently eligible for induction into the International Boxing Hall of Fame, but if he gets the chance for a comeback bout against his rival, that induction will have to wait.
“There has been talk that Tyson will fight Evander Holyfield again, a match that shouldn’t happen, but might because of the money involved,” Yahoo Sports’ Kevin Iole said.
Tyson is old, warn out, and winded. His last fight in 2005 against Kevin McBride, Tyson couldn’t finish the battle. Around the time of his retirement, he lost three out of four of his last fights. He couldn’t get past two rounds.
The both of ‘em are way too old to be in the ring. Let’s leave the sport up to the ones worth watching. Who’s (really) idea is this?
And I was just wonderin’ the other day how Iron Mike was generatin’ revenue and payin’ his bills. I guess this article answers my questions….’cause he must not be generatin’ nothin’.

Firstly I am and always been a fan of Mike even at his lowest point. This article is in fact true, Mike said he wants to retire but first he wants to leave on a better note. He admits he isn’t the man he once was but he is said to be in good shape now and very focused, and after losing his daughter I believe he has something to prove. Now you guys can make old jokes, but none of you would dare step into the ring with him or George Foreman and survive, I promise

Cap’, like you I’ve always had a soft spot for Mike, poor guy couldn’t catch a break and the people he loved/trusted shat on him. If he had any love while growing up, he may not have been a fighter but, he would have been a better man. Besides, both he AND Holyfield need some serious ca$h.
