*Thanks to her shiny new supporting actress Oscar, Mo’Nique received her official invitation to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
The star of “Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire” is among 135 people invited this year to be a part of the prestigious group, which votes for the Academy Awards.
Adam Sandler, Bono and James Gandolfini also received invitations, as did previous Oscar nominees such as Carey Mulligan, Anna Kendrick, Vera Farmiga, and “District 9″ writers Neill Blomkamp and Terri Tatchell.
The entire 135 will be honored at a reception in September.
Let’s hope Mo’Nique show some class when she attend’s the reception in September.
