*In Game 4 of the 2010 NBA Finals it was the Boston bench and in particular, Glenn “Big Baby” Davis and Nate Robinson that sparked a 96-89 Boston Celtics win over the Los Angeles Lakers.
With the game tied at 64, the Celtics went on a 7-0 run, capped by a Davis putback and foul at the 8:22 mark in the fourth quarter.
“Just will, determination,” Davis said regarding his offensive rebounding. “You know they’re long, you just gotta go out there and put a body on somebody and make sure they don’t touch the ball.”

BIG BABY = SLOB!!!!! I think that his style is comparable to Charles Barkley. But we’ll see if he ever makes it to that level.
Big BAAAA-BAAAAY!!!
Celtics, please whoop Kobe and ‘nem’s A$$ES!!!
Say what you want but David and Robinson (along with Wallace) saved Boston’s A$$ last night. They changed the whole intensity level of the game in less than 4 minutes. If I’m Doc Rivers, I’m telling Pierce, Allen & Garnett “sorry dudes you gonna have to EARN your floor minutes. i was peeved when Doc took out Robinson and Davis…they would have LOST if he did not put them in. What I love about David and Robinson is that they SHAKE SH#% UP…threw Kobe and company off kitler for a few minutes. Phil jackson had a “WTF?” look on his face. If Boston really wants to win Pierce, Allen & Garnett are going to have to SIT DOWN…they are being outplayed…no creativity on the floor…no energy. I was to see Robinson & Rajon as the floor generals…with Davis and Wallace on the Floor!
You know that it occured to me that while the starters were clankin’ their shots, if Doc would have enough sense to put their two top energy players out there on the floor at the same time and attempt to play them some heavy minutes. He did that, which is good, but it irritated me, too, when they were pulled out ’cause they coulda held it down for the rest of the game. It’s obvious that the Celts DEFINITELY need the extra day of rest ’cause all of the starters’ legs are gone. They are str8 up outta gas. Rondo couldn’t make a lay-up. It’s obvious that he needs some time off. But I predict that those two players will be key for the rest of the series. Even Phil Jackson didn’t have a response when he was asked about them in the post-game press conference. And Davis will be a beast from here on out. When I saw him miss his first two lay-ups, I was like, “DAMN! Here we go again.” I’m glad to see that he was frustated missin’ those shots like I was frustrated watchin’ ’cause when all was said and done, he made up for it.
