*(Los Angeles) – Ten acts from Iran, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Carolina and Los Angeles competed for Best Vocal, Best Songwriting and Best Dance Awards at the recent Los Angeles “Uplifting Minds II” entertainment conference’s national talent competition showcase held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Hip-Hop artists Young Reckless Riders from Long Beach, California won Best Vocals and Los Angeles natives R&B group Certified PYT won Best Dance and rappers The Circle won Best Songwriting. Young Reckless Riders tied in both the Vocal and Songwriting categories – the audience cheered whole-heartedly so the judges and host could hear their choices as to who the winners should be.
