*R&B vixen Ciara, whose latest music video “Ride” made headlines for being sexually suggestive, says she may seek higher education at some point in the future if a subject piques her interest.

The 24-year-old singer – who began her career at age 16 – graduated from Georgia’s Riverdale High School in 2003 and was immediately signed by LaFace Records executive L.A. Reid, with the help of Jazze Pha. She began production on her debut album later that year.

“I did get some years where I was still able to go to school and see my friends, so I don’t feel like I missed out on my youth,” Ciara said, according to Contact Music. “I didn’t go to college or anything. I would like to go back to school one day and learn more because knowledge is power, so the more the better.

“I’m happy that I stopped my education when I did, in terms of seeing my career take off in the way that it did, but I wouldn’t rule out going back to school one day. If something caught my interest and inspired me to go back, then I may think about going back into education, but for now I’m focused on my career.”
