Keenen Ivory Wayans Moves Into ‘A Village’

*Keenen Ivory Wayans will reportedly write and direct the comedy “It Takes A Village” for CBS Films and Sony Pictures, according to Deadline.

The story revolves around a 30-something white single career-obsessed woman who decides to adopt a child from a South Pacific island.

The adoption, however, requires her to return home with the tribe’s chief and seven elders – who take up residence in her gated community until she proves herself as mother material.

Wayans, Todd Garner and Rick Alvarez will produce.
