*Parents, you can train your kids to be pro boxers now! Floyd Mayweather, retired … sort of … pro boxer and champion is opening up a free boxing clinic for children in Las Vegas. They too can be brutal, lean, mean fighting machines.
The camp will open up Monday July 5 at his Las Vegas gym. The Mayweather Boxing Club Summer Camp is a six-week program for 5-18 year-olds. Sessions are being held 9 a.m. -12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The kids will be trained in the most official and superior boxing training. They will endure floor exercises, shadow boxing, and go to work on the bags.
“Giving back to this community and providing opportunities for youth to stay active and gain new skills is very important to me,” said Mayweather. “The Mayweather Boxing Club Summer Camp is a chance for these kids to learn the fundamentals of boxing, as well as the important life lessons that come with participation in sports.”
The children will also have access to some of the newest and best boxing gear and equipment in the energy, thanks to corporate sponsorships. Since its foundation in 2007, TFMJF has empowered the community through boxing. For more information, visit www.tfmjf.org.
