*Snoop Dogg was honored by VH1 when they partnered up with Do Something.org, the largest organization in US for teens and social change. Snoop Dogg received the award for “Do Something For the Kids” because of his charity football league called Snoop Youth Football League (SYFL) that reaches out to inner-city children.

The awards show was held at the Hollywood Palladium on July 19, 2010 in Hollywood, California.

Snoop’s Youth Football League will be expanding from California to Chicago, Illinois, at a free football clinic for about 200 8 to 14-year-olds from Chicago Housing Authority. This will be the first city outside of California to receive league teams.
