*A Los Angeles court has granted Dr. Conrad Murray’s request to get fluid samples of Michael Jackson as part of his defense for his upcoming involuntary manslaughter case.
Murray’s legal team wants to re-test the fluids to determine the accuracy level of the Propofol found in Jackson’s body, reports TMZ.
According to the L.A. County Coroner’s report Jackson died of acute Propofol intoxication. Murray was charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection with the King of Pop’s death.
Also during the Monday afternoon hearing, Judge Michael Pastor set a preliminary trial date for January 4.
