*Faith Evans sent out a tweet Sunday night addressing her arrest the previous day on suspicion of driving under the influence.

As previously reported, the Grammy-winning singer was pulled over by police Saturday at a checkpoint in the Marina del Rey area of Los Angeles and arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor drunk driving.

Writing on her Twitter account last night, she said: “Hi Faithfuls… I am on the set of my new video for my single ‘Gone Already’.

“I’m sure by now most of you heard that I was detained on suspicion of a DUI. After completing a full day of wardrobe prep I was stopped at a random checkpoint.”

She added: “I’m fine and well, and thank you for your prayers, kind words and concerns.”

Evans was reportedly held for four hours before she was released.

Her album, “Something About Faith,” is due Oct. 5.
