*(Los Angeles) – KJLH 102.3fm will host the Saturday, September 18, 2010 “Old Skool Meets New Skool,” CD Release Concert with Silk, Dru Hill, H-Town and L.A.’s own Trueful.

KJLH jocks Kevin Nash and Tammi Mac will host the event to be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center (West Hall) starting at 8 p.m. Red carpet arrivals start at 7:00 p.m. with celebrity arrivals announced by Tammi Mac before she goes on to host the pre-show of young talent at 7:30 p.m. Concert starts at 8 p.m. with Kevin Nash joining Mac announcing the opening acts Rickey Jones and Brother Bill.

After Party and “Meet and Greet” starts promptly after the concert for ticket holders.

Kevin Nash is heard on Stevie Wonder’s KJLH Mon through Friday from 8 p.m. – Midnight. He is a songwriter, producer and musician (piano, sax) who started in radio at the tender age of 12 thanks to a neighbor, Brother James Ford. Nash is also a voice-over actor whose voice has been heard at the B.E.T. Awards, Maad Sports, AOL Radio and ABC Sports Halftime Show. Kevin also teaches music.

Tammi Mac hosts the afternoon show “Mac and Amiche” from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.     daily on Stevie Wonder’s KJLH. She can currently be seen in national TV commerrcial campaign’s for Lowe’s, Swiffer, Verizon and more. She just completed theatrical performances at the Wilshire Ebell in Don B. Welch’s The Bachelorette Party and starred n Idella’s Soul Shack. She has a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre and has studied comedy with the Groundlings Theatre School.

Trueful, who will be appearing in the Screen Gems film Easy A – along with his stylist/sister Ms. Styles, releases his “Taste of Class” sophomore CD at the September 18, 2010 concert. Multi-Platinum R&B group Dru Hill (Sisqo, Jazz, Nokio and Tao) is currently promoting their fourth CD titled “InDRUpendence Day.” The current single is a passionate love song, “Back to the Future.” Multi-Platinum R&B group Silk – members Timothy Cameron, Jimmy Gates, Jr., Jonathen Rasboro, Gary Jenkins and Gary Glenn – is currently promoting their new CD project, “Silktime,” and Platinum group H-Town – members Solomon “Shazam” Connor and Darryl “GI” Jackson (Keven Conner – deceased) – are also promoting a new album, “Child Support,” which features Jodeci and Pretty Ricky on the single “Knocking Your Heels.”
