Shaquille O’Neal has reportedly popped up in a lawsuit that accuses him of hacking into and other charges.
According to Radar Online, O’Neal’s former employee Shawn Darling filed a suit claiming that the NBA star destroyed evidence and possibly attempted to frame Darling by planting child pornography on his personal computer.
The suit against O’Neal states the charges of intentional infliction of emotional distress, invasion of privacy and civil R.I.C.O. (a racketeering charge). Darling filed the legal documents in court in Miami-Dade County, FL on August 3.
The papers specifically allege that O’Neal hacked into his reported mistress Vanessa Lopez and Darling’s phone systems and deleted Lopez’s messages, attempted to illegally obtain information on alleged mistress Alexis Miller, and threw a computer containing evidence against him in a lake.
The suit also O’Neal of conspiring with law enforcement officials and others to frame Darling.
Darling cites e-mails, photos and texts messages as proof that O’Neal had multiple mistresses and was looking to keep his affairs quiet.
Darling says that he worked as an IT professional for O’Neal in his home, where he allegedly learned about O’Neal’s affairs and his attempts to cover them up.
O’Neal divorced wife Shaunie in 2009.
