*Although LeBron James is often called “King James,” he doesn’t always get the treatment he feels he deserves.

In an attempt to protect himself while attending a Buckeyes football event on Saturday, he requested a police escort.

However, he was denied for some reason that is unknown at the time – perhaps, like the rest of Ohio, the police are holding a grudge against him for bolting to the Miami Heat.

James reportedly asked Ohio State University’s Police Department for a full escort for his arrival at the Buckeyes vs. Hurricanes game on Saturday, but was rather quickly denied.

A source says that at best he’ll get one police officer to escort him, and that “he made his decision.”

That’s no way to treat a king! So as a result, James just didn’t show up.
