*Photos of the posters of the superb lady cast that Tyler Perry recruited for his adaptation of For Colored Girls, which is dated to hit theaters everywhere November 5th, has surfaced the internet.

Perry has brought out the best of Hollywood to remake the 1975 classic collection of poems, Tony Award-winning Broadway play and TV movie written by Ntozake Shange, but shortened the title For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuff to simply For Colored Girls, and added an extra character. What remains is the various stories of being a woman, from coming of age to abortion.

Just as the characters were in the original piece, each character represents a color, and in representing that color had a unique personality. What originally starred Lynn Whitfield, Alfre Woodard and  Tony recipient Trazana Beverly now features Janet Jackson, Kerri Washington and Phylicia Rashad.
