Last night we went to Walmart (a store I absolutely hate but my friend told me that was the only place to find this stuff). So I found what I needed, got up to the check-out chick and realized the bag was open.
I politely asked her if she could send someone to get another and she said sure. She scans the open bag and sits it off to the side. She finishes scanning ‘his’ stuff and hands us the receipt.
I said what about getting someone to get me an unopened bag? She huffed and puffed and I said “forget it, just credit his card back… I don’t need it that bad”.
HE gets REALLY annoyed with me and says “I’ll go get it” so he walks all the way back to tim-buk-tu and then when we got in the car, he was like “why couldn’t you just go get it? you saw she was kinda slow; she probably didn’t understand what you meant”. I said “then they shouldn’t have her @ss working a register!!” and we argued half the way home.
I have to agree with HE. It’s WalMart, not a full service boutique. Either go get it or say never mind…..
I’m with cuzzin… They are a lowcost provider for a reason. You couldda ran back and got that Equate Tequila your damb self!

Everytime I’d go, I’d be looking at him like, “Dang, he looks familiar!” Well, you know normally he had the 1/2 mask thing on his face so I couldn’t really tell if it was him. And he’s always looking all mean! Everybody at Club Fitness is nice & welcoming, except him. He has an attitude problem…hmm, wonder why?

Ok I will just put my situation out there and hopefully I can get some feedback. Ok so you guys all know that I have been dating my guy for about a year now. He lives in Seattle and I in California. He spent the summer here with me and for the most part everything was good. Now in the beginning he was adamant about never moving to Fresno because it really is nothing here as far as “things to do”. I really dont have a problem with my town because the way I see it that is what traveling is for. In the beginning I was all down for moving to Seattle because I was like hey why not. But now after a year and learning all of his *shyt* I have kind of changed my mind a little. Now let me say he is a great guy but his financial situation is effed. I have the house, been on my job 16 years and financially doing ok. Him on the other hand half of his check goes to child support, no home that he owns and credit is shot. He is working on that but I am just like goodness Love does not come around often for us women but I am by no means desperate. Plus its only been a year, I told him to give me until next summer before I decide to make any moves and plus I want to be married. His excuse is well I dont have the money for a ring because all of my other expenses. My thing is well you better save for a year. No way I will pack up my life and my son for a girlfriend status, it aint going to happen. I am at a crossroads because at this point I am leaning towards just letting him go on with his life and I will go on with mine. I dont want to hold him up when he could be meeting other people and vice/versa. Help me sistas and brothas.

I think it is very wise to wait and continue to weigh your options. You will be compromising and uprooting your life and your children’s life. I think it is not unreasonable for you to see how it goes over this next 9 months. This will give him an opportunity to save for your ring and get his other ish together. I think you are doing the right thing.

@ Lovely his child support will be that way for the next 6 years. He is working two jobs so it is a little better for him. No I will not be transferring my job I will have to find a new job. He says he does want to marry me but he has to save up first for the ring. And no as far as him moving here he is not having it at all so in that aspect I think he is being very selfish.
Hershey if he gave me a ring tomorrow I would say yes because I love him to death but I just think uprooting my life deserves more of a commitment than just living with him and being his girlfriend. + Seattle weather suckssssssss, lol.

As you know, I’ve been thru a tough year in trying to have a child on my own. The last time, I found out that my sis-in-law was expecting about 3 days after I found out that my attempt didn’t work. Talk about devastating. We would have been due less than a week apart.
Fast forward to 7 months later… they decided to name my little niece Hailey Brielle. Brielle is a hybrid of my first name and is the middle name that I was gonna use for my little one that wasn’t meant to be (yet).
I started crying when I found out. That meant so much to me!

A doctor involved in an “on-again, off-again” relationship apparently tried to force her way into her boyfriend’s home by sliding down the chimney, police said Tuesday. Her decomposing body was found there three days later.
Dr. Jacquelyn Kotarac, 49, first tried to get into the house with a shovel, then climbed a ladder to the roof last Wednesday night, removed the chimney cap and slid feet first down the flue, Bakersfield police Sgt. Mary DeGeare said.
While she was trying to break in, the man she was pursuing escaped unnoticed from another exit “to avoid a confrontation,” authorities said.
DeGeare said the two were in an “on-again, off-again” relationship.
The man’s identity was not revealed by police, but the man who resides in the home is William Moodie, 58.
“She made an unbelievable error in judgment and nobody understands why, and unfortunately she’s passed away,” Moodie told The Associated Press. “She had her issues – she had her demons – but I never lost my respect for her.”
Reached by telephone, Moodie did not dispute the police’s characterization of his relationship with Kotarac. He would not comment on the circumstances that led to her death, saying it was more important to focus on the good she did in life.
Moodie, who runs an engineering consulting firm, said Kotarac was a superb internist who often provided service and medication free of charge to her patients.
Kotarac apparently died in the chimney, but her body was not discovered until a house-sitter noticed a stench and fluids coming from the fireplace Saturday, according to a police statement. The house-sitter and her son investigated with a flashlight and found Kotarac dead, wedged about two feet above the top of the interior fireplace opening.
Firefighters spent five hours late Saturday dismantling the chimney and flue from outside the home to extract Kotarac’s body, DeGeare said.
Officials said Kotarac’s office staff reported her missing two days prior when she failed to show for work. Her car and belongings remained near the man’s house.
A cause of death has not been determined, and an autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday. Foul play is not suspected, though investigators have been looking into the incident as suspicious.

Do you want to take a step backwards in lifestyle for love? Move to a place you’re not particularly crazy about to live in either a rented place or a place YOU have to buy for both of you? Give up your job and seniority for a maybe job? It’s not selfish to expect to keep a certain standard of living. It is selfish to want someone to give up a certain standard of living.

You need protection and stability and marriage, moving, and uprooting the baby boy is a “business” decision. I ain’t saying drop bruh. But I am saying that it’s unreasonable to ask you to give up a major asset and a stable job (don’t you get some milestone in 20 years?) for little to nothing except for love.
Get with a credit counselor and financial planner. Come up with a plan to get stuff in gear. If you decide to wed, consider a prenup to keep the proceeds of the sale of your house as “separate property” so that you have some fall back money and/or money for baby boy’s college fund. And trust yourself. You’re usually right about stuff you’re involved with … the first time.
