*Mike Tyson turned up in Las Vegas last night toting his 2-year-old daughter Milan Tyson to the red carpet premiere of ESPN’s “One Night in Vegas,” a film detailing the evening in 1996 when Tupac Shakur was shot.
The former heavyweight champ was a close friend to Tupac and yesterday tweeted this vintage photo of the two hugging.
Tyson’s wife since June 2009, Lakiha Spicer, 32, is Milan’s mother. He has a total of six children: Rayna, Amir, Mikey, Miguel, D’Mato and Milan. His 4-year-old daughter Exodus died tragically last year after injuring herself with a treadmill cord.
Reggie Rock Bythewood directs “One Night in Vegas” for ESPN’s 30 for 30 documentary series celebrating the network’s 30 year anniversary. The film premieres 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7 – exactly 14 years to the date of the shooting.
With the full cooperation of Tyson, the film will tell not only the story of that infamous night but of the remarkable friendship between Tyson and Tupac.
