*Kelly Rowland is getting people up close and personal with the new video for her latest single “Rose Colored Glasses,” which was shot in 3D by noted fashion photographer Rankin.
In a behind-the-scenes video posted on YouTube, Rowland said: “This video has been fantastic, one of the best video experiences I’ve ever had.
“I’ve shot a lot of videos, but this one is probably the most intriguing in the sense of how it’s shot, the lighting, everything is so detailed.” [Watch video below.]
Rankin, who has previously worked with Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue and Lily Allen, added: “The concept of the video is that it’s in 3D. It’s a very emotional song. You have this theme of looking at the world in an optimistic way from the outside.”
Describing the track, Rowland revealed: “The inspiration behind the song is just my real life. The song was actually produced by Dr Luke and written by Easter Dean.”
The track will appear on her as-yet-untitled album, due in 2011.
