Tuesday night’s Miami Heat-Boston Celtics game just entered the history books as the most-watched regular season game in cable-TV history, attracting 7.4 million viewers and breaking the previous record set 14 years ago for a game between the Michael Jordan-led Chicago Bulls and the Shaquille O’Neal-led Los Angeles Lakers.
The Heat’s 88-80 loss Tuesday night was followed on TNT with one featuring the world champion Lakers against the Houston Rockets, which drew 3.7 million viewers.
