Authorities at Los Angeles International Airport say the three-time NBA all-star was taken into custody for alleged public drunkenness.
Airport spokesman Albert Rodriguez says Francis was arrested at 11:30 p.m. Thursday because he was intoxicated, unable to care for himself and combative toward staff.
Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department records show Francis posted $10,000 bail and was released around 3:30 a.m. Friday.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 5, according to an AP report.
