*R. Kelly has been tapped to kick off the second annual Soul Train Awards when the show premieres on BET and Centric next month, RTT News reports.

As previously reported, Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson are set as hosts for the ceremony to take place on Wednesday, Nov. 10 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta.

Performers include Faith Evans, Ne-Yo, Keyshia Cole, Erykah Badu and Rick Ross, among many others.

Usher and Alicia Keys both lead the pack of nominees, tied at four. Keys is up for Best R&B/Soul Artist Female, Song of the Year, Album of the Year and Record of the Year, while Usher is nominated in the categories of Best R&B/Soul Artist Male, Song of the Year, Album of the Year and Best Dance Performance.

Drake is close behind with three nods, while Monica, Ne-Yo, B.o.B., Nicki Minaj, Dondria, Erykah Badu, Fantasia, Janelle Monáe and Sade all have two nominations each.

The Soul Train Awards will air on BET and Centric on Nov. 28.
