*(Los Angeles) – Talent agent Gwyn Foxx of Gwyn Foxx Talent Agency (GFTA) host seminar, “Are You Ready to Become a Dream Player?” and serves on the panel of judges at the Sunday October 17, 2010 “Uplifting Minds II” (ULMII) entertainment conference’s national talent competition showcase. The conference is to be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center (West Hall Theater) from 1 – 7 p.m.
Gwyn, along with the other judges on the panel, will score on ten acts in vocal, songwriting and/or dance category for a chance to be the top winner for the ULMII Best Award and a list of other prizes. The conference starts with seminars from 1 – 4 p.m. and ends with the talent competition showcase, hosted by KDAY 93.5’s DJ Surreal, from 5 – 7 p.m. – admission to talent showcase competition is free!
Gwyn Foxx, a former ULMII judge, has over 21 years experience in entertainment as a writer, producer, director, casting agent and artist manager. Foxx ran her Gwyn Foxx Personal Management company for over 12 years and offered talent and image development, and placement. Her company became the Gwyn Foxx Talent Agency in 1999 and her clients included Jaimee Foxworth (“Family Matters”), Chante Moore, Howard Hewett, and Jay King.
GFTA is a full service talent agency that provides services which include filling job positions needed for major studios, production companies and casting directors.
