Terrell Owens #81 of the Cincinnati Bengals celebrates his 43-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Paul Brown Stadium on October 10, 2010 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Tampa Bay defeated Cincinnati 24-21.

*Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Terrell Owens could be punished by the NFL for sending out a tweet on Sunday less than 90 minutes before kickoff – which is against league rules.

T.O.’s Twitter account posted a message at about noon ET on Sunday, 60 minutes before their game against Tampa Bay.

The tweet stated: “A lucky fan wearing my jersey 2day will get a signed football by Me & Ocho Cinco! My asst will pick U out!! Good luck!”

The AP spotted Owens on the field near the time that the message was posted on Twitter. However, the NFL rule on using social media 90 minutes before game time extends to agents, friends and others who might operate a player’s social media account.

His teammate, Chad Ochocinco, was fined $25,000 in August for using his Twitter account during a preseason game.
