The two exchanged rings by Stuart Jewelry Design in front of about 15 guests on Nov. 13 at the restaurant Eleven Madison Park in New York City. Neville’s longtime pastor, Reverend Tony Ricard, performed the intimate ceremony.

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed a sit-down dinner of persimmon salad with mozzarella, salmon and Black Angus beef. The wedding cake was a Pear William Cake.

During the fall-inspired reception, which featured centerpieces of roses with pears by Flowers by Roberta, “people shared loving stories about us,” says Friedman.

The couple met during a People magazine photo shoot in 2008, when Friedman was hired to take a portrait of the Neville Brothers. They were engaged shortly thereafter.
