*“Dancing With the Stars” survivor Bristol Palin has offered an apology for comments she and her 16-year-old sister Willow used to attack a schoolmate on Facebook this week.
Without mentioning the homophobic slurs specifically, Bristol posted to her Facebook page Wednesday night: “Willow and I shouldn’t have reacted to negative comments about our family. We apologize.”
She then pivoted , adding, “On a nicer note, thank you for supporting the great competition in Dancing with the Stars!”
Willow, who called her schoolmate a “fa*got” for posting a negative comment about her mother’s new TLC show “Sarah Palin’s Alaska,” has not apologized and has since deleted her Facebook account altogether, according to TMZ.
Jon Stewart weighed in on the controversy last night on “The Daily Show,” basically suggesting that the media coverage was overblown and that children of politicians should remain off limits.
Yes, children of politicians should be off limits but not when THEY! the childre put themselves on display such rude behavior then they should be put on blast. The Palin girls brought this on themeselves they should of not even responded to the negative comments toward their mother after all I am quite sure they have heard negative things before. What they said was not only out of line but stupid on top of it. Bristol apologized. Willow should apologize also, she was so grown to use that type of language then she should be mature enough to own up to it. PS. I do not want to hear about these two at every turn now let this be the last we hear from them. lol

Under normal circumstances I would agree that the children of politician should be off limits, but not these little demons….
I knew that John Stewart with his fake azz pseudo liberalism self would get into this, trying to pander to the right. After the backlash from creating a false equivalency between the left and the right during his million moderate march, he came on Rachael Maddow to try and explain himself, only to claim that in his world, Bush is not a war criminal.
“You’ve said, ‘Bush is war criminal.’ Now that may be technically true. In my world ‘war criminal’ is Pol Pot or the Nuremberg trials,” Stewart replied.
As someone said, “All of this was by way of Stewart explaining the equivalence between the serial liars of Fox News and those on the “left” who utter truths that others don’t want to hear. If that’s what Stewart supports, it’s terribly dissapointing.”
Uhm! But I don’t think even Pol Pot waterboarded anyone 187 times, as Bush did with Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.
