*(Los Angeles, CA) — This Friday, November 19 at 9pm, the return of “Hip Hop Live Classic” hits Cinespace in Hollywood, located at 6356 Hollywood Boulevard (Hollywood 90028).
Hip Hop Live showcases classic hip hop music from the original artists who gave birth to the culture that still lives on today.
This week features legendary hip hop artist Das EFX; they will perform live with the Wylde Bunch Band. Additionally, the event will be hosted by the First Lady of West Coast Rap, Yo-Yo.
Producing an event that yields an ode to hip hop and captures hip hop legends (who are favorable, wholesome artists) in an optimal setting with a live band is what Hip Hop Live achieves.
Furthermore, it brings a piece of a history back to life-taking some of the best hip hop artists/legends to the general market for some who have never seen them before-but may have heard their music, adding to the live performance aspect by creating elements utilizing live instrumentation.
Some of the (recent) past legendary performances include Special Ed, Yo-Yo, Ahmad, Skee-Lo, Chubb Rock, AMG, 2nd To None, Lady of Rage, Kool Moe Dee, JJ Fad, King Tee, Candyman, and MC Breeze. Future performers include Dougie Fresh, Big Daddy Kane, Dana Dane, Keith Murray, Pharcyde, Rob Base, Slick Rick, Grand Puba, Naughty by Nature, Kwame, Digital Underground, EPMD, Brand Nubian, Black Sheep, just to name a few. The first show occurred on September 4, 2010 and showcased the legendary Kool Moe Dee.
Hip Hop Live is produced by Hip Hop Live Entertainment Group, an entity committed to keeping Hip Hop alive and introducing it to all audiences-no matter the age, creed or ethnicity.
