Jay-Z to Release Another Book

*Jay-Z is awfully busy these days. A couple of weeks ago the Hip-Hop mogul released the memoir “Decoded” and now he’s getting ready to release a biography in March.

The book is entitled “Empire State of Mind: How Jay-Z Went from Street Corner to Corner Office” and will feature interviews form past collaborators and business partners Damon Dash, DJ Clark Kent and Questlove.

The bio, written by Zack O’Malley Greensburg, will take readers on a journey through the rapper’s rise to fame and million dollar deals.

“Empire State of Mind” will be in stores March 17, 2011.

  1. “Jay-Z to Release Another Book….” And I should care, why???? He’s already been exposed for not writing the 1st one and who cares about his life’s story?? For that does, just listen any 10 of his earlier songs & that’s his life’s story with plenty of embellishing of course. He sold drugs, his father wasn’t around, he shot folk, etc. You know, the story that every rapper has!!

  2. I read alot but, I will pass on Jay’s books not exactly a fan of his but I can appreciate how he has changed his life around from thug to rap mogul.

  3. Firstly, this isn’t a Jay-Z book but a book that someone is putting out on him bc I doubt seriously that he would do a book and get a quote from Dame. Secondly, WHO writes their own bio’s today? EVERYONE has a writer at the publishing house that puts their words into words and that’s all that Dream Hampton did – she interviewed Jay and translated his words to paper. It’s done for correct grammar, spelling and construction. In no way does that indicate that someone has a ghost writer. And it’s also been no secret that Dream and Jay have been working on this book for 5 years. Stop reading and believeing those washed up gossip rumor sites that’s aimed at discredting blacks.
