*Well, it should come as no surprise that silly Sarah Palin wants to take on President Obama in 2012.

Not only does she want to run against him, she’s confidant that she can win.

“I believe so,” the ex-Alaska Gov. told ABC News’ Barbara Walters when asked if she thought she could beat Obama.

It seems her 2008 loss to Obama when she was paired with John McCain as his VP nominee, means zilch at this point.

“I’m looking at the lay of the land now, and … trying to figure that out, if it’s a good thing for the country, for the discourse, for my family, if it’s a good thing,” Palin told Walters, in an interview that will air Dec. 9 as part of “10 Most Fascinating People” year-end special.

Once vague about her plans to run for president, Palin has actively ramped up her rhetoric in recent months.

She has created her own political action committee SarahPAC and has been dropping hints right and left about her wish to run.

“If there’s nobody else to do it, then of course I would believe that we should do this,” she told Entertainment Tonight last month.

She also confirmed her consideration of a 2012 campaign in an upcoming New York Times Magazine profile.

Bristol Palin's dancing made Steven Cowan want to shoot his TV

*A Wisconsin man, Steven Cowan, opened fire on his television with a shotgun because he was so incensed by Sarah Palin’s daughter’s on-screen dancing.

Cowan’s actions – provoked by Bristol Palin’s performance on “Dancing With The Stars” – sparked an all-night standoff with police.

Court documents revealed Cowan, 67, was “fed up with politics” and thought “Palin wasn’t a very good dancer.”

After blasting the television at his Wisconsin home, Cowan pointed the gun at his wife Janice. She escaped and managed to call the police.

A SWAT team surrounded the couple’s farmhouse throughout the night and negotiators eventually persuaded Cowan to give himself up.

He has been charged with reckless endangerment.

You know something Mr. crazy man, we (and Brandy) absolutely agree with you about Bristol Palin’s dancing skills … or lack there of.
